Nusbaumer is an independent family and artisanal distillery founded in the Alsatian Vosges in 1947. Specialized in the manufacture of eaux-de-vie and liqueurs, the company also recently offers a gin and an Aquavit 100% French. The high quality products from Nusbaumer are made from all kinds of plants typical of medium-mountain areas. This Williams pear liqueur is made from fresh fruit and Williams pear brandy. Weakly sweet to respect the creaminess of the fruit, it is very expressive and has a powerful fruity taste, emblematic of the pear. Among alcohols and spirits, brandy, formerly prized for its medicinal virtues, is one of the essential drinks. It is made from plants, herbs, grains and fruits. Today, it is a tasting alcohol whose name brings together both traditional spirits and distilled spirits that do not hold a distinct name. In any case, it is the fruit of the alcoholic fermentation of its ingredients followed by distillation. The heating core is then recovered and more or less aged according to the recipes before being bottled to about 65% with or without the addition of pure water. Emblematic of strong alcohols, a good digestive or coffee pusher, brandy has two close cousins with an alcohol content of 15% to 55%: the liqueur which is characterized by its high sugar content and the fruit cream even sweeter and therefore thicker.
